Judicial Bypass. In the state of North Carolina, judicial bypass is available to any young person that is under the age of 18 and chooses not to, or cannot, seek consent from a parent in their abortion decision. While we encourage minors, who are able and comfortable speaking to their parents about their pregnancy and decision to have an abortion to do so, we know that this is not always possible.

    • If you are a minor in need of assistance with the judicial bypass process, please text (844) 997-2229

    • Helpful handout for conversations with parents: Mom, Dad, I’m Pregnant

If you prefer or require exclusive privacy to ensure that you are not seen or recognized by other patients, friends, or families, we offer fully private abortion services. We can address and provide special security issues as needed and promise you full and complete confidentiality.*

*There is a fee to arrange for only you, your loved ones, and the doctor and medical staff to be in the clinic at the time of your specially scheduled appointment. Please call and we can have a conversation about helping you through.

Financial help is available for our patients in Virginia

We understand the financial barriers that many pregnant people face when deciding to end a pregnancy. We will work with those who are eligible to provide financial assistance. We have trained funding assistants and patient navigators to support you.

At A Woman’s Choice, we’ve always believed in evolving to meet the needs of our patients and our team. Like many organizations with longevity, a restructuring was necessary to ensure we remain responsive, sustainable, and aligned with our mission in today’s rapidly changing world.

We understand that change can be difficult—and not always comfortable. However, in the current climate, it’s essential to adapt. This includes updating our practices, welcoming fresh perspectives, and embracing new levels of commitment from our team to meet the moment with strength and care.

These decisions were not made lightly. We deeply value everyone who has contributed to A Woman’s Choice of Raleigh’s work over the years. Their dedication helped shape who we are today. As we move forward, we remain committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients while creating a supportive and forward-thinking environment for our staff. Please be assured you will have the best, safest care and be met with the highest level of compassion and respect.
